Terms of service
These terms apply to your use of the Slipstream Supply Australia online store and to any order you place with us. By using this store or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them alongside our Shipping, Refund and Privacy policies.
About us
This store is operated by Fabien James Harris-Brocklesby, trading as Slipstream Supply, a New Zealand owned business based at 33 Aranui Road, Māpua, Nelson 7005, New Zealand (NZBN 9429051743086). We sell motorcycle parts and accessories to customers in Australia, dispatched from our base in New Zealand.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order. You agree to provide accurate account and delivery information and to keep your account details secure.
Orders and payment
All prices are shown in Australian dollars and include any taxes we are required to collect. Your order is an offer to buy, which we accept when we confirm and dispatch it. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if there has been a pricing or description error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you in full.
We take care to price and describe everything correctly, but errors can happen. If we find an error affecting your order, we will contact you before proceeding and give you the choice to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Product information and fitment
We describe our parts as accurately as we can, including what they fit. Photos are for illustration and may differ slightly from the item supplied. Confirming that a part suits your make, model and year is your responsibility. If you are unsure, contact us before ordering and we will help.
Shipping
Orders are dispatched from New Zealand and delivered across Australia as set out in our Shipping Policy. Delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed, as some factors, such as customs and courier networks, are outside our control.
Returns and refunds
Returns and refunds are handled as set out in our Refund Policy. Those terms sit alongside the guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that the law gives you and that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, and without limiting your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, our total liability to you for any claim connected with an order is limited to the price you paid for the goods that claim relates to. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Intellectual property
The content on this store, including text, images, logos and layout, belongs to Slipstream Supply or our suppliers and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Privacy
We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, where our business is based. If you are a consumer in Australia, you keep the benefit of the Australian Consumer Law and any other rights that apply to you and cannot be excluded, including access to Australian courts and consumer protection bodies.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted here with the date it was last updated. Changes do not affect orders already placed.
